There are a variety of devices which perform different tasks. You can customize some device's visibility with an option. Some devices (such as the Hover Platform) are visible during the game, but other devices (such as the Elimination Manager) are not visible during the game. You can interact with most devices and almost every device has a multitude of options that can change the functionality of the device. When placing a prefab or gallery, a holographic radius will appear, showing the dimensions of the placement.ĭevices are usually small props or 2D icons that allow you to modify the mechanics for your games. Galleries are usually split into categories (wall galleries, roof and stair galleries, prop galleries, etc). You can also make your own prefabs and galleries using the Level Instance Device, however, these don't save between islands. Most prefabs and galleries are from structures from the Battle Royale island, but some are from Save the world, Creative, or other modes (Such as Impostors). Prefabs place down pre-built structures, whereas Galleries consist of individual tiles and pieces, which you can use to make your own architecture. There are many ways to decorate your islands. All Creative maps have a 12-digit code (For Example: 1234-5678-9012), which can be entered in the Island Code tab. You can find many featured creative maps in the Discover tab, or you can navigate to the browse tab to find a map by its categories. You can also access Creative through the Discover Tab. You may make up to 50 islands before being required to delete some to continue. You will be given a list of options of islands to pick from. To change the destination for an Island Rift, look at the console next to it and press the interact button.

You can access these through Rifts (with the Golden Rift marking your islands).

When you enter a game of Creative, you will find yourself in the current Featured Hub, where you can access your or friends' creations, or play the featured matchmaking portal of the week. It is an open sandbox where players can create and publish their own custom islands, or discover featured islands created by the community.
